Physiotherapy

Our NDIS physiotherapy services are mobile to you in Adelaide.

We provide the following services to Self Managed and Plan Managed Participants

  • Therapeutic Supports - Improved Daily Living Skills (physiotherapy)

    • Regular physiotherapy to help identify, support and achieve your goals

    • Help to plan ongoing disability specific supports

    • Training, delegation and supervision of formal or informal supports

    • Training NDIS support staff so that they understand your needs.

    • Assessment and report writing to support your NDIS review.

Physiotherapy sessions can be fun and motivating. They can take place at your home, gym, in the community, at a park, pool or beach.

We have experience in using music, dance, shadow boxing, trail walking, adapted sports, seated and traditional tai chi, hydrotherapy and other activities to keep the sessions relevant and motivating for you, while achieving your goals.

We take a collaborative approach with you, your family and significant other, support workers, occupational therapists, speech therapists and educators.

Social and Recreational Support

Pilentum offers Social and Recreational support on limited days.

We provide services to self managed and plan managed clients

We can support participants to do a variety of things to be in the community and be sociable

  • Try a new hobby

  • Join a team

  • Go to a café or a movie

  • Feel confident while learning and doing new things

  • Help you to achieve your goals

  • Visit the library or community centre

  • Attend a D&D or board gaming group

Therapy Assistant - Level 2

During Physiotherapy some participants may be identified as suitable for some sessions with our Level 2 Therapy Assistant.

Usually this is to assist with some exercises for a few weeks, and then reviewed again by the Physiotherapist.

The Allied health assistant works under instruction of the Physiotherapist, and is indirectly supervised.

Perry is our Allied Health Assistant. He has a Cert III Individual Support, Current First Aid Certificate, and is studying Paramedicine at Flinders University.
